Keeseys to celebrate 60th anniversary

Richard and Delores Keesey of Hannibal Missouri, formerly of Adel and Waukee Iowa, are celebrating their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Richard Keesey is the son of the late Robert and Ethel Keesey of Adel. Delores Spencer is the daughter of the late Howard and Cora Spencer of Waukee. Richard and Delores were united in marriage on July 2, 1954 with a small family service at the First Christian Church in Adel. Attendants were Betty (Merical) Wicks and the late Dick Merical, sister and brother-in-law of the Bride. The couple lived in a few different towns in Iowa before moving to Hannibal, Missouri where they have resided for the past 41 years. Of this union they had five children: Bonnie (Bill)Dillman of Hannibal Mo., Dennis (Cyndia) Keesey of Hannibal, Wanda Clover of Des Moines, Teresa (Chris)Hunolt of Memphis, Mo., and Robert (Tammy) Keesey of Troy, Mo. They have 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Their children will be have a celebration for the couple back in their hometown of Adel on Saturday, June 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Raccoon Valley Bank basement along side the family reunion. If you know this couple please stop by and say hello or you can send cards of congratulations to:
