Forty-three-year-old Richard Hollands of Adel faces numerous charges after he led law enforcement officers on a high-speed chase Saturday evening.
Hollands allegedly fled when Waukee Police attempted to pull him over for a traffic offense.
He led Waukee police on a high-speed chase that eventually ended near the Library in Dallas Center just before 7:30 p.m. Adel Police and the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department joined in the pursuit.
The incident, which ended on R Avenue in Dallas Center, resulted in Hollands being charged with OWI third offense, eluding, failure to have interlock device, failure to have license and failure to maintain control.
Hollands was taken to the Dallas County Jail in Adel and later bonded out.
