January 19

Cassandra Marie Hall, age 21, 310 S. 11th Street, Adel, was arrested for interference with official acts.

January 18

Mark Aaron Hoepker, 3076 Victor Ave., Orient, Ia., was arrested for operating while intoxicated-2nd offense and speeding.

January 16

A property damage accident involving four vehicles occurred on Nile Kinnick Drive N. at the intersection of Grove Street. Involved were Blake A. Kuper, 27734 Fairground Road, Adel; Kevin B. Burns, 23196 Valley View Trail, Adel; Elizabeth A. Garlich, 2130 High Street, Des Moines; and Vicki L. Klein, 820 Summer Meadows Court, Perry. All four vehicles were northbound on Nile Kinnick Drive N. Kuper had stopped for a vehicle that was turning onto Grove Street. Burns, Garlich and Klein were behind Kuper. Burns & Garlich had slowed due to Kuper being stopped. Klein attempted to stop, but due to weather conditions, was unable to do so. Her vehicle struck Garlich’s vehicle, which struck Burns vehicle, which in turn struck Kuper’s vehicle. Damage to vehicles is estimated as follows: Kuper - $200; Burns - $300; Garlich - $1,500 and Klein - $1,000.

January 15

David Long, 819 Grove St., Adel, reported a theft.

A property damage accident occurred in the parking lot of ADM High School, 801 Nile Kinnick Drive S., Adel. Theron E. Dollens, 819 Madison St., DeSoto, was exiting a parking spot and struck another legally parked vehicle belonging to Shannen M. Bargman, 33628 L Avenue, Adel. The Dollens vehicle sustained approximately $200 damage. There was approximately $500 damage to Bargman’s vehicle.

January 14

A 17-year-old, of DeSoto, was arrested for possession of prescription drugs with intent and possession of prescription drugs on certain real property.

A 15-year-old, of Adel, was arrested for possession of prescription drugs and enhanced possession on certain real property.

January 13

Ronald D. Messamer, 621 S. 9th Street, Adel, reported a theft.
