February 10

Hajrudin Garibovic, age 36 of 918 16th St., Perry was a arrested in the 16000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI.

James Vernon Harkrader, age 47 31838 Puckerbrush Rd., Adel was arrested at this address for assault.

Timothy Gupton of De Soto was traveling in the 24000 block of 270th when his vehicle slid while entering a curve and slid partially in the north ditch striking a fence post. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1,500 and $150 to the fence post.

February 9

Christopher Alexander White, age 24 of 226 Journey Circle, Council Bluffs was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of driving under suspension.

Marc Wayne Thurman, age 40 of 8805 Chamberry Blvd., Ste 300, PMB 150, Johnston was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of interference with official acts.

February 8

William Terrance Tighe, age 41 of 2301 SW Oralabor Rd., #79, Ankeny was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear and failure to make support payments.

Amber Ramsey of Boone was traveling south in the 18000 block of Highway 17 when her vehicle hit a patch of snow/ice and lost control leaving the roadway and entering the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $10,000.

Scott Johnson of Des Moines was traveling south on Highway 17 when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $8,000.

Tony Keasey of Grand Junction was traveling west in the 31000 block of 130th Ct. when he lost control on the curve and went off the roadway striking a tree. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5,000.

February 7

John Archer Beals, age 65 of 300 Washington St., Bouton was arrested at 204 South 1st St., Dawson for carrying a weapon.

Cathy Lynn of New Berlin, Ill was traveling north on Highway 169 turning West on Fairgrounds Rd when a vehicle driven by Brandon Jazz of West Des Moines struck Lynn’s vehicle from behind throwing her vehicle into the south bound lane and struck a vehicle driven by Shane Boston. A passenger in Boston’s vehicle was taken to Mercy West with minor injuries. Cathy Lynn was transported to Methodist with minor injuries. Jazz was cited for failure to stop within the assured clear distance.

Christopher Allen Beals, age38 of 300 Washington St., Bouton was arrested at 204 South 1st St, Dawson for felon in possession of a firearm, domestic abuse, OWI, felony eluding, driving under suspension and reckless driving. February 6

Chipp Edward Manders, age 56 of 14235 Zook Spur Rd., Madrid was arrested on a warrant for felon in possession of firearms and also arrested for violation of a no contact order

Rozalyn Boyer of 26762 T Ave., Dallas Center reported that someone broke into their home. Several items had been moved around and a bowl of loose change was missing.

June Burkhart of 14567 Bittersweet Rd. Woodward reported a suspicious vehicle near her home.

Julie Achenbach of 31165 155th Pl., Woodward reported that someone entered her residence and took several items. Clinton Carl Richard, age 39 of 722 2nd St., Perry was arrested at the Dallas County Courthouse for public intoxication.

Anthony David Rothmeyer, age 44 of 602 E Main, Grand Junction was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

February 5

Charity Renae Wheatley, age 31 of 455 NW 5th St., Earlham was arrested on a warrant for criminal mischief.

Jeremiah James Hopper, age 31 of 2825 SE 14th St., #20C, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear.

Leslie Payne of Winterset was traveling near the intersection of Simple Land and 360th St., when her vehicle left the roadway and entered the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2,500. Payne was cited for failure to prove liability insurance.

February 4

Levi Shepherd of Shannon City, Iowa was traveling east on State St in Dexter when a vehicle driven by Danny Brown of Dexter, traveling south on Marshall St., stopped at the stop sign and proceeded to pull out onto State St. and struck Shepherd’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to Shepherd’s vehicle estimated at $3,000 and $3,000 to Brown’s. Weather conditions were a factor.

Ken Cunningham of 19001 150th St., Perry reported that a vehicle had lost control on the highway and slid into the ditch taking out a couple of Cunningham’s trees then smashed into a picnic table destroying it. The driver took off. Damage to property estimated at $2,000.

Michael Billington of Keller, Tx., was traveling east near the 111 mile marker of Interstate 80 when a vehicle driven by Jona Aldrich of Earlham lost control on the icy/snowy road, crossed the lane divider line and struck Billington’s vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to Aldrich’s vehicle estimated at $3,000 and $1,000 to Billington’s.
