Dallas County Conservation Board will be holding a Fire by Friction event at the Kuehn Conservation Area in Earlham on Sunday, Nov. 17 from 2-4 p.m.
The program is about remembering the ancient skill of creating a fire with a bow drill. Participants will build their own bow drill kit and receive instruction on how to master this skill as well as light their own tinder bundle on fire.
Registration is required for the program and the cost is $5 per person.
