Gov. Branstad tours A-D-M

Adel-DeSoto-Minburn students involved in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Biomedical Sciences Program received a visit from Gov. Terry Branstad Wednesday afternoon. The governor toured each station speaking with the students on activities such as measuring blood pressure and heart rate to examining other principles of Biomedical Sciences.

Through PLTW, Branstad stated students will become better educated, leading to more job opportunities in the future.

A-D-M is currently only one of four schools in the State of Iowa to offer the PLTW Biomedical Science Program.
