Supervisors to hold second informational meeting on county administration building

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will be holding their second informational meeting on the county administration building tonight at 7 p.m. at the Woodward-Granger High School Cafeteria, 306 W. Third St. in Woodward.

A county administration as well as jail is slated to be constructed east of Adel, on county-owned property, on Highway 6 at a total cost of $22 million.

Residents will be given the option whether or not to pass the $16,850,000 bond referendum vote on Aug. 6.

The board will be holding two more informational sessions in the coming weeks: July 16 at the Perry High School Brady Library, 1200 18th St. and July 23 at the Waukee School District Office, 560 SE University.

All meetings will take place at 7 p.m. and are open to the public.
