Recently we had a very successful bake sale on Saturday morning, and Zombie Walk in the afternoon. You can still drop off your non-perishables at the library for the Adel United Methodist Church food pantry. Also through this next week you can still order your Zombie T-shirts from Michelle Boren, at the library for $12. The amazingly talented Michelle created six different designs, so be sure to get one for you, your friends, boyfriend, girlfriend, or family members.
This week we have book club on Thursday at 7 p.m. at the library. We will be discussing “These is my words.” By Nancy Turner.
We will also hand out the next book “Wild Swans.”
Josh Heard, author of “When Ghost Hunting Goes Wrong” will be at the library on Oct. 21.
I will be in Ames with the Dallas Country Librarians for our final presentation on “Anywhere Book Club.”
