Wanted man arrested on manslaughter warrant

On Tuesday, July 8, The U.S. Marshal Task Force along with officers from the Ankeny Police Department, went to an address in Ankeny in search of 26-year-old Patrick Glade. Glade was wanted on a warrant for involuntary manslaughter in reference to the 2013 death of 17-year-old Aaliyah West of Grimes. Information was developed through investigative leads that Glade was in Guthrie Center. While en-route to Guthrie Center, The U.S. Marshal Task Force was notified by Glade’s Attorney that Glade would surrender to police. Glade was arrested on the above mentioned warrant at the Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office and transported back to the Polk County Jail. Glade is currently being held in the Polk County Jail on the warrant for Involuntary Manslaughter with a bail of $20,000 cash only.
