Jerrt Nizzi, 47, of 1320 Greene St., Adel was arrested at the intersection of Hickman Road and 6th Street and charged with OWI 1st offense.

Justin Kline of 886 Mansfield Dr., Waukee reported a theft of a tackle box valued at $400 in the 800 block of Mansfield Dr.

September 13

Emily Brecker of 7715 Beachtree Drive, Waukee reported a theft of money and items valued at $55 in the 500 block of SE University Ave.

Taylor Schleisman of 135 Broderick Drive, Waukee reported a theft of cash and items valued at $32.50 in the 500 block of SE University Ave.

September 11

A vehicle driven by Jason Somsky of 2419 E. 37th Court, Des Moines was backing out of a parking space in the 500 block of SE Greentree Drive and did not see a vehicle parked behind him and struck the parked vehicle. Vehicle damage estimated at $500.

Susan Heslinga of 13250 4th circle, Clive reported a theft of jewelry, valued at $4,000, in the 1600 block of SE Holiday Circle.

September 10

Brandon Garcia, 24, of 1055 SE Rosewood Drive, Waukee was arrested in the 1300 block of SE LA Grant Parkway on a Dallas County warrant for violation of parole.

September 9

Tamara Larson of 1225 SE University Ave., Waukee reported a theft of a road bike valued at $800 in the 1200 block of SE University Ave.

A vehicle driven by Sarah Zdenek of 712 45th Place, Des Moines was traveling westbound in a private parking lot in the 500 block of SE University Ave. when a vehicle driven by Shannon Bowers of 555 SE Cardinal lane, Waukee was turning left from a private drive and struck Zdenek’s vehicle. Vehicle damage estimated at $1,490.

Vehicles driven by Taylor Porter of 2670 NW 158th Street, Clive and Christopher Guess of 520 SE Murphy Drive, Waukee were parked in a parking lot at Waukee High School sports stadium and were both backing out of parking spaces and rear ended each other. Vehicle damage estimated at $2,000.

September 8

William Reese of 1516 46th Street, Des Moines reported criminal mischief to a vehicle window in the 50 block of SE Windfield Parkway. Damage estimated at $50.
