October 13

Sara Valdez, 33, of 850 N. Pleasant Hill Blvd., Pleasant Hill was arrested at the intersection of Warrior Lane and SE Windfield Pkwy and charged with driving while suspended.

A legally parked vehicle owned by Joseph Bormann of 180 Melrose Dr., Waukee was struck by an unknown vehicle in the 100 block of Melrose Dr. Vehicle damage estimated at $1,000.

Cheryl Carlson of 1082 Joseph Ct., Waukee reported a theft from a resident in the 100 block of Joseph Ct. Items taken at $150.

October 12

A Nicole Denhartog, 27, of 8601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines was arrested in the 1400 block of SE LA Grant Pkwy and charged with OWI-1st offense. Nia Baird, 35, of 195 Gray Ave., Waukee was arrested in the 100 block of Gray Ave. on a Clive Police Department warrant for theft-5th and driving while suspended.

October 11

A vehicle driven by Steven Carew of 1524 Maple Dr., Adel was traveling eastbound in the 700 block of Hickman Road and slowing for traffic when a vehicle driven by Jamie Larson of 55 SE Windfield Pkwy, Waukee was traveling eastbound in the 700 block of Hickman road and due to being blinded by sunlight rear ended Carew’s vehicle. Vehicle damage estimated at $6,000.

Kum & Go at 350 SE University Ave., Waukee reported a theft of fuel in the 300 block of SE University Ave. valued at $50.05.

October 10

Brent Goodman, 33, of 220 NE Dartmoor Dr., Waukee was arrested in the 200 block of NE Dartmoor Dr. on a Dallas County warrant for possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

October 7

Keith Elmquist of 2410 NW 17th St., Ankeny reported criminal mischief to a vehicle in the 400 block of 5th St. valued at $300.

October 4

A legally parked vehicle owned by Mokter Torfa of 105 SE Windfield Parkway, Waukee was struck by an unknown vehicle with vehicle damage estimated at $1,000.
