March 10

Peter Trotter, 38, of 6000 Creston Ave., Des Moines, was arrested at the intersection of Warrior Ln. and Windfield Pkwy. and charged with driving while barred and violation of protective order.

March 9

Kevin Ferkin, 52, of 1340 SE Florence Dr., Waukee, was arrested in the 1300 block of SE Florence Dr. and charged with domestic assault.

A vehicle driven by Eric Love of 65 SE Booth Ave., Waukee, was traveling eastbound on SE University Ave. and going through a green light when a vehicle driven by Lauren Ellerbach of 820 SE Oak Leaf Ln., Waukee, who was traveling eastbound on SE University Ave. and waiting to make a left turn, went ahead on making the left turn and was struck by Love’s vehicle. Vehicle damage estimated at $27,000. Ellerbach was cited for failure to yield upon left turn.

March 7

Kum & Go at 400 Prairie Bluff Dr., Waukee, reported a theft of fuel in the 400 block of Prairie Bluff Dr. Items taken valued at $38.05.

March 5

Beisser Lumber of 3705 SE Beisser Dr., Grimes, reported a theft of a metal fork lift in the 100 block of Fox Landin. Items taken valued at $1,500.

Marquis Bonds, 24, of 3305 SE 22nd St., Des Moines, was arrested in the 1500 block of 5th St. and charged with driving while suspended.

A vehicle driven by Matthew Belling of 600 SE Boone Dr., Waukee, was traveling northbound in the 600 block of Boone Dr. and stopped to make a left turn when a vehicle driven by Kristen Tebrink of 8708 Alpine Dr., Urbandale, rear ended Belling’s vehicle. Vehicle damage estimated at $8,000. Tebrink was cited for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

Garrett Skalnik of 120 SE Crabapple Dr., Waukee, reported a theft of iPhones in the 200 block of NE Warrior Ln. Items taken valued at $800.

Adam Kaufman, 39, of 645 SE Woodcreek Dr., Waukee, was arrested at the intersection of Ute Ave. and Painted Woods Dr. and charged with OWI-1st offense.
