If you could go anywhere you wanted to within Dallas County, where would you go today? What would you do? Are there ever places you want or need to go that you cannot get to because you don’t have transportation?
Some individuals miss appointments or have complicated scheduling with friends and family in order to accomplish simple errands. Others miss out on social events because they lack the means to get out as much as they might if a ride was available.
Dallas County Public Health Nursing Services wants your input on this important subject. What is your opinion regarding the need for and use of public transportation in our communities?
A survey for anyone is available now through Sept. 15. You may find the survey in several different places:
Online at Survey Monkey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/HX58ZCN From the Dallas County website, right on the homepage www.dallas.co.ia.us By texting to 22333 with 759518 (answer “If you had a ride to anywhere in Dallas County today, what would you do?”)
Paper copies of the survey are available at the Public Health office, 902 Court St, Adel
It will be interesting to see the results of this survey, and what is on the wish list of residents of our county. Please give us your input to help guide the future of providing access to transportation for everyone who needs it.
