The Adel Police Department recently purchased a speed control trailer at a cost of $7,600 with rollover funds from their 2012-13 Fiscal Year. The device will be placed in school zones, parks and recreational areas, and residential streets. Adel Police Chief Jim McNeill (pictured) said the device will help provide a safer community for all Adel citizens.
