A-D-M boys fall to Ballard despite Essy’s 25

The A-D-M boys’ basketball team never seemed to be too far behind Ballard, but in the end the Bombers came away with a 74-64 win against the Tigers. A-D-M senior Logan Essy shot 7-of-10 from the field and had 25 points, five and three assists in the 10-point loss to Ballard.

Essy was the only Tiger in double digits for points, but Kyle Ferguson had nine points while Jake Sloss, Robbie Sloss and Joe Sloss had seven points apeice. The Bombers had four players score double digits including senior Mason Jensen who had a game-high 30 points.

Robbie Sloss, who fouled out of the game, had a game-high seven rebounds. Jonny Reel and Joe Sloss also fouled out of the game.

The Tigers will play this Friday on the road against Boone, who they beat 44-43 back on Jan. 10. After that they will play on the road again against Carlisle, who defeated them 69-62 last time back on Jan. 14.
