The A-D-M girls’ basketball team snapped a six-game losing streak with a 45-44 win over Pella on Tuesday in Adel.
Molly Jacobsen scored a game-high 14 points to lead the Tigers, while Kendra Chapman finished with 1 and Brianna Mueller added eight.
It was the Tigers’ first win since a 41-39 victory over Ballard on Dec. 20.
A-D-M couldn’t overcome a slow first half and dropped a 64-38 decision to Bondurant-Farrar on the road Jan. 17.
The host Bluejays recorded 11 steals held a 35-14 lead at halftime, a lead from which the Tigers could not recover as they fell for the sixth game in a row.
Madi Bertman recorded 11 points on a perfect 5-of-5 shooting and added three rebounds. Chapman added six points and two steals, and Sydney Bertman finished with six points and three rebounds. Mueller contributed five points and four assists.
B-F’s Madi Atzen and Ashley Burrows combined for 43 points.
