Kari Dufoe of A-D-M clocked a 13.08-second time in the 100-meter dash to finish sixth at the Drake Relays on April 26.
The Tigers’ 4x400, 4x200 and 4x100 teams all ran season bests. The 4x400 team of Torrie Hook, Bri Mueller, Regan Engleman and Dufoe was ninth in 4:04.01, the second fastest time in Class 3A this season. The same four finished 16th in the 4x200, while Madi Bertman, Haley Schepers, Hook and Dufoe were 24th in the 4x100.
Woodward-Granger’s Haley Manning finished 10th in the 800 with a time of 2:17.17. She also anchored the 4x100 team of Miranda Kuehl, Maddie Bardole and Abby Musser to a 28th-place finish in 51.36.
Dallas Center-Grimes’ Rachel McCarthy, Maci Masching, Kaitlin Wenell and Kennedy Jennings were 15th in the 4x200 in 1:47.53, and the Fillies’ 4x100 team of McCarthy, Masching, Bailey Norald and Wenell was 56th in 52.22.
On the boys’ side, A-D-M’s Grant Goeden, Beck Goplerud, Tate Jensen and Jordan Grove were 49th in the 4x100 in 44.83. DC-G’s Reese Iversen also competed in the high jump ut did not clear a height.
