Fillies sit at an even 3-3

The Dallas Center-Grimes girls’ soccer team pulled their record to 3-3 on the season with a 4-0 win over Norwalk on Monday night in Grimes. Junior goalkeeper Addy Rosa made three saves in 80 minutes to preserve the shutout for the No. 9 Fillies.

Allison O’Brien had one goal and two assists in the match. Jaci Finley, Lexi Roasa and Mckenzie Smith each had goals as well.

Chelsea Fallis had one assist in the 4-0 win over the Warriors.

Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson/Ankeny

The Fillies evened out their record on April 19 as they defeated Council Bluffs, Thomas Jefferson 3-2 at a tournament in Urbandale. O’Brien and Sydney Umbarger each had one goal in the Fillies’ win.

Addy Rosa made four saves and allowed two goals in the match.

The Fillies followed up their win against Council Bluff Thomas Jefferson with a 1-0 loss to Ankeny.

Addy Rosa made five saves and allowed one goal in the loss.
