The Woodward-Granger boys and girls track teams travelled to Panorama High School Monday night to compete in the Kip Janvrin Invitational.
After a 30-minute rain delay, action got underway.
The W-G girls finished third in team standings while the W-G boys took fourth.
Abby Musser led the Hawk girls, taking first place in the 100 meter dash, 100 meter hurdles and 400 meter hurdles.
Seth Noel and Lane Kooiker placed first for the boys with Noel taking the top spot in the 400 meter hurdles and Kooiker in the high jump.
“I was really happy with our kids,” commented W-G co-Head Coach George Ashman. “We ran faster at that meet this year than we did last year in most of our events.”
The W-G girls 800 sprint medley team took first place while the boys 4x800 meter relay team and distance medley squad also claimed first after impressive performances.
The Woodward-Granger boys return to action Monday, April 14 at Carroll while the girls travel to Guthrie Center Thursday, April 17.
