Brianna Mueller and Joshua Berger posted top-five finishes to lead A-D-M at the Raccoon River Conference meet in Huxley on Monday.
Mueller, a sophomore, finished third overall in 15 minutes, 52 seconds to help the A-D-M girls to a sixth-place team finish. Berger, a senior, finished fifth in 17:26 to help the A-D-M boys to a fifth-place finish.
Mueller was followed by Erin Person (30th, 18:28), Danielle James (32nd, 18:40) and Jessica Gard (33rd, 18:43). Jenny Wicks (35th) and Erica Baier (45th) also competed.
After Berger, the A-D-M boys followed with Scott Clabough (25th, 19:02), Mark Sinnwell (27th, 19:05), Trevor Harsh (35th, 19:23) and Connor Slater (26th), 19:24. Also running were Kyle Ferguson (39th) and Trevor Danner (46).
Boone ran away with the team title, scoring a 28. Perry was second with a 74, Carlisle was third with an 87 and Ballard was fourth with an 88. A-D-M was fifth with 128.
Winterset (40), Boone (45), Carlisle (113) and Bondurant-Farrar (122) made up the top five of the girls’ race. A-D-M was sixth with 132.
