Nolte lands first-team pick on all-LHC team

Sam Martin/DCN Selena Nolte finished third in the conference in kills this season with 242. She was named to the all-Little Hawkeye Conference first team.

Selena Nolte was named to the all-Little Hawkeye Conference first team recently.

Nolte, a sophomore, was third in the conference in kills, racking up 242. She posted a .215 efficiency and 37 blocks.

Fillies setter Jenna Humke was named to the second team. She averaged 5.7 per set to finish with 534, while adding 25 blocks and 28 aces.

Kaitlin Wenell and Chelsea Eilers received honorable mentions. Wenell, the team’s senior libero, finished with a team-high 353 digs. Eilers, a sophomore outside hitter, was second on the team with 124 kills, and served at a 95.7 percent success rate with a team-high 38 aces.

DC-G’s first foray into the Little Hawkeye Conference resulted in a third-place finish with a 5-2 mark. The Fillies went 13-22 overall.
