Tigers’ season ends with Bluejay loss

A-D-M was held to just four hits in a season-ending 6-0 regional loss at Bondurant-Farrar on Tuesday.

Molly Jacobsen, Jessica Wyant, Caitlyn Gruening and Hannah Tiffany all recorded hits for the Tigers. But the Bluejays pushed across a run in the first and broke the game open with three more in the third.

Kate Collins pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing four runs, three earned on four hits. Jacobsen went 3 2/3 innings and gave up two runs on six hits while striking out three.

The Tigers were held to two hitsby Jacobsen and Gabbie Glenn in a 1-0 loss to Winterset on Monday. Collins went five innings, allowing just three hits and striking out one. Jacobsen pitched a scoreless sixth.

The Tigers finished the season with a 4-26 record.
