Tigers coast past Huskies in RRC opener

A-D-M outscored Winterset 16-5 in the first quarter and 36-16 in the second half, coasting to a 58-31 victory to open Raccoon River Conference play on Dec. 6.

Madi Bertman scored 12 points to lead the Tigers, while Kenzi Sutton contributed 11 points and five rebounds. Brianna Mueller finished with 10 points, six rebounds and four assists, and Sydney Bertman added seven points and eight rebounds. Kendra Chapman scored six points, Molly Jacobsen had five points and eight rebounds, and Emily Hofmann had five poitns and five assists.

The Tigers are in a stretch of five consecutive home games, and will wrap up the 2013 portion of their season by hosting Carroll on Friday and Ballard on Dec. 20.
