Tigers top Toreadors in four

A-D-M improved to 12-8 on the year with a 3-1 victory at Boone on Tuesday.

With the win, a 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 25-21 victory, the Tigers climbed to 2-0 in Raccoon River Conference play.

Torrie Hook hit .304 and amassed a team-high 18 kills to lead the Tigers along with 16 kills. Allison Gottschalk collected 12 kills and Haley Schepers finished with nine kills, eight digs and three blocks. Abby Merschman had five kills and six blocks, and Kari Dufoe had five kills as well as six aces on 24-of-24 serving. Brennan Hook added 26 assists and Marissa Felt had 18.

A-D-M hosts Dallas Center-Grimes in a nonconference match on Thursday, and returns to RRC action with a home match against Ballard on Sept. 24.
