Kylie Bustad shot a 9-hole total 50 Monday to pace the Woodward-Granger girls’ golf team to a fourth place overall finish in the Bondurant-Farrar Invitational at Terrace Hills in Altoona.
PCM (Monroe) was a run-away winner in the tournament, posting a low score of 192 to beat Pella Christian by 14 strokes.
The host B-F team was third at 211, while Woodward-Granger tallied 214. Madrid and Collins-Maxwell-Baxter rounded out the team scoring with 265 and 277, respectively.
All five PCM players finished among the top 11 golfers, overall, and the Mustangs’ Maddie Peters took meet medalist honors with 42.
Bustad’s 50 tied for sixth in medalist play.
She was followed by Katelyn Major, who shot 54. Both Maggie Bermel and Stephanie Johnson shot 55s and Savannah Carroll’s 62 rounded out the W-G team total. Caitlin Coker’s 63 was not figured in the team total.
Rounding out the top five individuals were Autumn Vos of Pella Christian with 46, Ashley Huisman of B-F with 48, and Rachel Phifer of PCM and Amy Stock of B-F, each at 49.
