Warrior girls still unbeaten

Waukee picked up a 77-54 win at Fort Dodge on Tuesday.

With the win, the Warriors improved to 5-0 on the season. Reilly Jacobson and Anna Kollmorgen each scored 17 points to pace Waukee. Miranda Hunzeker added 15 points.

The Warriors also lodged a 58-52 win over Ankeny Centennial on Dec. 13.

Waukee put the game away with an 18-6 run in the fourth quarter, powered by a 22-point game from senior Taylor Wingert. Kollmorgen added 12 points, five rebounds and five assists, and Jacobson added 10 points, five rebounds and four steals. Carlie Littlefield finished with 10 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Waukee closes out the year by playing host to Southeast Polk on Friday. The Warriors return to action Jan. 3 at home against Urbandale.
