The Waukee boys’ baseball team extended their record to 3-0 with a 9-4 win over Norwalk on the road on May 30. The Warriors were trailing 4-0 going into the fourth inning and scored six runs in the fifth to take a 7-4 lead.
Addison Meyers started the game on the mound and gave up four runs on four hits in three innings. Malik Moore came in to relieve him and struck out ten batters in four innings and gave up no hits or runs while picking up the win for the Warriors.
Matt Hoeg went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBIs. Moore went 2-for-3 at the plate and also had three RBIs.
Meyers and Hoeg scored two runs apiece for the Warriors.
